What it Hope Awaits Ministries
Hope Awaits Ministries is a men's homeless shelter in North Bay Ontario. Our staff work with men in need to take them from a state of homelessness and work with them until they are independent and self-sufficient members of society. We are more than just a bed and a meal - it is our goal to see lives transformed!
What Services does Hope Awaits Ministries provide?
Do you have to be a Christian to use Hope Awaits Ministries' services?
Absolutely not. Our services are available to any person regardless of faith.
How is Hope Awaits Ministries funded?
We are funded primarily through the generous donations of individuals, churches and businesses and also from grants that our charity qualifies for. We also hold various fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds for our programs.
What items can I donate?
Hope Awaits Ministries accepts perishable and non-perishable food items, new and gently-used clothing, toiletries, and small household items (bed sheets, towels, dishes, etc.). We do not accept used underwear, socks, or toiletries.

What does my donation accomplish?
Your gift to Hope Awaits Ministries reaches so many who look to us for physical, spiritual and emotional support. Whether it's a home cooked meal, a safe place to stay for the night or giving someone the ability to learn basic life skills, your generosity makes all of this possible.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Any donation made to Hope Awaits Ministries for $20 or more is eligible for a tax receipt. Receipts will be provided on an annual basis and will include all gifts given in a calendar year.
