What is a Client Care Volunteer?

Client Care Volunteers work directly with our clients - encouraging and supporting homeless men on their journey to independence.

What is the Level of Commitment?

Client Care Volunteers commit to coming in to Hope Awaits on a semi-regular basis as their schedule permits.  Each volunteer can decide:

• Which day(s) of the week they are interested in volunteering

• What time of day they are interested in volunteering

• How often they would like to volunteer

Do I Qualify?

Client Care Volunteers must

• Be 18+ years old

• Complete a volunteer application form

• Agree with Hope Awaits Ministries' statement of faith, mission statement, vision statement, and core values

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus

• Be able to provide their own transportation

• Have love and compassion for others

• Share the basis of the Gospel

• Complete the shelter training provided by our staff
