What is Wheels of Hope?

Wheels of Hope is an annual bike-a-thon fundraiser to raise money to offset the operational cost for Hope Awaits Men’s Homeless Shelter.

How Does it Work?
Participants will commit to a fundraising goal and collect sponsors and pledges to participate in the event. All participants can choose their distance, ranging from 5 km to 100 km.

Why Sponsor?

1. Create a future for the many vulnerable homeless men in our community.
It is estimated that there are 156 absolutely homeless people, and 357 people who are at risk of becoming homeless in North Bay. Since opening in May 2018, 37 men have stayed at the shelter, this means there is a lot of work left to do and the shelter relies solely on donations to operate.

2. Proceeds benefit Hope Awaits Men’s Homeless Shelter.
We are trying to keep the costs of the event as low as possible by accepting in-kind donations to help lower costs. This means that we can donate the maximum amount of money raised.

3.Great brand exposure! Reach a new market by sponsoring the event.
Build your brand community goals by aligning with the values of Hope Awaits. The event will be run in a highly visible location along the North Bay waterfront. We expect to have over 50 participants who will be out in the community. Plus, lots of volunteers and even more people making donations!

Thank you to our generous sponsors!
